Aku yang tak berapa nak dengar tadi nya mula memasang telinga bila sebutan nama tersebut di ulang siar

"bla bla bla EDWIN VAN DE SAR bla bla bla..", pengumuman pembesar suara di ulangi.

"Ooo.. Edwin Van de Sar. Gol keeper Manchester United", kata aku pada Azli

"Laa.. bola ke. Aku mana tau. Kalau MotoGP tau la..", kata Azli bolayan sebab memang bolasepak tak masuk dalam kamus 'sukan' beliau. Kalau bab moto2 besar memang dia lah jaguh!

"Turun jap gi nengok Edwin Van de Sar", kata aku pada Azli

Sampai bawah, dah ramai peminat2 ManU berkumpul... 

Aku ni penminat LIVERPOOL apa hal pulak sibuk2 nak menyemak kat tengah2 orang ramai musuh ketat tu ? Hehe.. saja nak menyemak. Bukan nya aku beriya2 benar. Hanya sekadar nak memenuhi ruang.

Memandangkan hanya Van de Sar seorang yang datang makanya aku dapat rasakan yang aura ManU tu macam tak tebal lah dengan peminat2 ManU yang ada kat situ. Mana idak nya, ada ke patut hantar gol keeper je ? Dah la gitu, gol keeper yang sebenarnya bakal bukan pemain ManU lagi nanti sebab beliau dah nak bersara. Hampeh!

By the way, walaupun ManU adalah musuh ketat aku sebagai peminat tegar LIVERPOOL.. aku still tabik kehebatan Van de Sar menjaga gawang dan he is one of the best, if not the best, goalkeeper in the world.. of course lah tidak sehebat PEPE REINA, penjaga gol LIVERPOOL yang hebat itu!!

Tak terliur pun aku nak beratur untuk minta autograf atau pun ambil gambar dengan Van de Sar.. ptuih!! hehe..

Malam tadi Liverpool (The Reds) telah MEMBELASAH Man U (The Devils) 3-1 di Anfield. Oleh itu, pagi ini aku pergi kerja dengan semangat waja dan senyum sampai ke telinga kerana "dendam kesumat" telah terbalas keatas musuh ter"durjana" kepada Liverpool.

Oleh itu, banyak lah mesej yang di hantar untuk meraikan kemenangan The Reds ini terutamanya kepada kipas-susah-mati The Devils!

Musim ini secara keseluruhan nya (setakat ini), kipas-susah-mati Liverpool macam aku ni telah lama suffer kerana form Liverpool yang tunggang terbalik sepanjang musim terutamanya sebelum kedatangan King Kenny sebagai manager Liverpool yang baru 2 bulan yang lalu.

Dengan kemenangan ini, ramai lah kipas-susah-mati Man U yang makan hati berulam jantung malam tadi.. haha! Padan muka.. siapa suruh sokong The Devils.. haha!!

Semalaman malam tadi aku tak tidur dek kerana nak mengikuti berita tentang transfer window yang heavily involving Liverpool FC.

Bermula 6pm petang tu aku dah monitor semua website2 yang ada menyediakan life feed berkenaan transfer window. Interest aku yang paling utama ialah..

And, in return who will Liverpool sign ?

Semenjak daripada jumaat dah memang obvious yang Torres sungguh2 nak keluar daripada Liverpool dan join Chelsea. Nothing much The King can do about it. Sebagai situasi menang-menang, Liverpool minta 50 milloins pound daripada Chelsea.

Dan, sepanjang malam tadi.. every half an hour aku akan tengok website2 berkenaan. Memang tak tenteram nak tidur dibuatnya!

Daripada jam 12.. pergi ke jam 2.. pergi ke jam 4.. dan, it is more obvious yang Torres will be gone by morning (Malaysia time)!

Wow! aku rasa harga tu tersangat lah exagerrated memandangkan Andy Caroll tu baru this season main dalam premiership!! I believed, the price is because he is English!!

Well, aku harap dia can live up to the price tag dan improve Liverpool fire power up front together with new signing Luis Suarez (a 22.8 millions pound buy from Ajax Amsterdam). Their latest task would be Stoke at home esok malam.

LIVERPOOL FC - CERITA PASAL JERSI

Arrrghhh.. agak menanah juga hati aku ni kalau nak bercerita pasal prestasi Liverpool FC dalam musim ini. Sangat2 mengecewakan!! Buat penat je aku berjaga malam setiap game.. main macam HAMPEH!!

Ok, ok.. kita lupakan sebentar prestasi hambar Liverpool itu.. huhu.. aku sebenarnya nak cerita pasal jersi2 Liverpool FC yang dah lama terperap kat dalam almari tu.

Jersi2 ini sebenarnya aku beli lebih kurang 13 tahun lalu.. ye, satu.. tiga.. 13!!

Malang nya atas sebab musabab yang sangat jelas.. aku tak boleh nak pakai jersi ini, terutamanya di Malaysia yang mana agama rasminya adalah agama islam. Dan, of course lah sebab aku ini orang islam. Sebab ? adanya logo "syarikat air minuman" yang err... tengoklah sendiri gambar kat bawah ni..

Got the message, right ?

Atas dasar ke"tegar"an aku sebagai peminat, aku tak hirau kan itu semua semasa nak beli dulu.. lantak lah, janji aku dapat beli jersi Liverpool FC yang ORIGINAL!

Ini jersi ORIGINAL ye.. bukan cap ayam atau made in Haadyai!! Aku tunjukkan buktinya di bawah ini supaya tiada dakwa-dakwi...

So, apa yang boleh aku buat untuk membolehkan aku pakai ? huhu..

Sebenarnya dah lama aku sangat2 "teringin" nak pakai dan berlagak bila pergi berjalan2 sambil menunjuk2 yang aku pakai jersi Liverpool.. menandakan aku konon2nya kipas-susah-mati @ The Kop lah! 

Tapi, logo "syarikat air minuman" tu lah yang merencatkan semangat aku untuk bergaya dengan jersi2 tersebut. Namun, setelah sekian lamanya memeram jersi2 tersebut dalam almari.. dan, daripada dibiarkan berkarat macam baju hard rock cafe putih aku tu.. akhirnya, aku nekad buat sesuatu.

Minggu lepas, aku ke sebuah kedai di CM (Central Market, KL) untuk menempah logo yang dijahit di atas kain (entah apa orang panggil, aku tak tau). Bila aku tanya brader kedai tu, dia kata boleh buat macam yang aku hendak. Harganya, RM15 satu. So, tanpa lengah2 aku tempah 5 unit. Janji untuk ambil esok hari nya.. dan, brader tu dengan confidentnya kata "Boleh, malam ni pun dah boleh siap", katanya

Esok petangnya, aku ke kedai brader tu..

"Bang, tempahan saya dah siap ?", aku tanya

"Belum lagi la, tak buat lagi pun.. sebab semalam kain habis. Baru sampai pagi ini", selamba dia explain dengan tanpa rasa bersalah!

"Pukul 5 boleh siap.. datang balik pukul 5", kata brader tu lagi

Darah aku ni dah menyirap! "Betul boleh siap pukul 5 ni ? Confirmed ?", aku nakkan kepastian

"Confirmed. Pukul 5"

Aku pun blah dengan muka masam mencuka dengan perasaan berbuku dihati yang maha dahsyat! Apa punya meniaga lah! Tak menepati janji!! Petang tu, aku tak datang ambil pun..

Esoknya, aku datang lagi.. nasib baik dah siap. Tak banyak tanya, aku ambil, bayar dan terus blah..

Malamnya..

Dengan penuh semangat yang berkobar2 aku terus kumpulkan semua jersi2 Liverpool aku dan mula menjahit di ruang tamu. Nak siapkan malam itu juga!

Dan, akhir nya.. taraaaa..

Walaupun tak berapa cantik (sebab warna hitam, kot?), aku puas hati sebab akhirnya setelah 13 tahun, aku terasa benar yang aku ni seorang kipas-susah-mati LFC dan dapat pakai jersi2 itu tanpa was2!!

As expected, setelah result dan tahap permainan Liverpool yang sangat2 mengecewakan.. Roy Hodgson (RH) telah dijadikan korban pemecatan seterusnya. Aku pernah buat entry (sini, sini) pasal RH appointment suatu masa dulu. Dan, as expected.. he is not up to the task.

OK, maybe RH tidak diberikan secukupnya masa yang beliau perlukan.. namun, pada pendapat aku keputusan yang dibuat oleh owner is the right one. Obviously, RH failed to show yang dia sebenarnya up to the task even from the word go lagi.

Oleh itu, aku dengan open arm me-welcome Liverpool's Favourite Son - KENNY DALGLISH - as Liverpool new manager. Hopefully, he will show the world who Liverpool really are!!

MENANG.MENGANTUK.HAJI.HOSPITAL.OFIS

Ini cerita daripada 12 tengah malam tadi hingga 10:30 pagi ini..


MENANG

Malam tadi live LIVERPOOL vs CHELSEA. Game starts jam 11:50 malam. Aku gagahkan juga untuk menonton, walaupun pagi2 buta dirancangkan untuk ke kompleks tabung haji - in-laws nak gi haji.

Dua gol maknanya dua kali aku MENJERIT.. tapi, dalam hati je la sebab semua orang tengah tido. Tak sia2 aku berjeghir (berjeghir = bersengkang, berjaga malam) biji mata semata2 untuk nengok game live ini sebab LIVERPOOL menang 2 - 0 keatas peneraju liga BPL.

Yey!


MENGANTUK

Natijah daripada berjeghir mata untuk nengok bola live, aku mengantuk!

Game habis jam campur-tolak 1:50 pagi dicampur dengan mata aku terkebil2 nak pejam campur-tolak 30 minit.. sudahnya, aku hanya dapat tidur lebih kurang 1 jam setengah je sebelum di kejutkan oleh cik puan kpp untuk get ready menyertai rombongan ke kompleks tabung haji.. pada jam 4 pagi.

huarrgghhh..


HAJI

Janji bertolak jam 5 pagi, tapi banyak sangat cerita nya.. udahnya bertolak jam 6 pagi. Adoiyai.. buat letih je bangun dan mandi seawal jam 4:30 pagi!

Perjalanan ber kereta agak lancar almaklum saja pagi2 buta.. ayam pun belum berkokok lagi. Di campur pulak dengan tour keliling dunia dan masuk pelbagai tol. So, it is a smooth sailling.

Sampai kompleks tabung haji, kelana jaya dalam jam 7 pagi - seperti yang dirancangkan. Aku lepak2 je sementara menunggu in-laws gi register dan bersiap2 apa yang patut.

HOSPITAL

Aku tak tunggu sampai semua proses register dan check-in selesai di kompleks tabung haji kelana jaya sebab aku ada misi yang lain - bawa 'cik Mori ke hospital untuk follow up selepas operation tempohari.

Jam dah 7:45 pagi - JAMMED!

Sudahnya aku sampai kat rumah 'cik Mori jam 8:45 pagi - jauh tersasar daripada targetnya iaitu jam 8 pagi. 'cik Mori memang dah siap2 tunggu. Aku parking kat halaman rumah, terus 'cik Mori kunci pintu rumah. Perjalanan ke hospital dalam 10 minit je.

Bila sampai, aku drop kan 'cik Mori di dalam kawasan hospital. 'cik Mori gi sendirian je sebab aku ada misi yang seterusnya..


OFIS

Petang ahad aku dah email bos untuk masuk 'sedikit' lewat pada isnin..

"Bos, mohon masuk lewat sedikit hari isnin @ 08/11/2010 sebab menghantar in-laws nak ke MEKAH dan emak saya ke hospital untuk follow up check up operation tempohari. Mungkin jam 10:30 pagi baru sampai."

Gitu lah lebih kurang email aku semalam. Pendek je jawab nya,"OK".

Selepas hantar 'cik Mori ke hospital aku pun terus menuju ke ofis - naik lrt. So, as planned aku sampai jam 10:35 pagi kat ofis dan terus menaip entry ini dalam keadaan yang mengantuk dan ala2 tido2 ayam.

I like this one because it will allow me to BUY the Liverpool's shirt and WEAR it the way I like it. Not just being kept in the closet - to be honest I got many from those days.. possibly err.. 5 jerseys - The long sleeve white/green, The long sleeve yellow, The short sleeve cream, The short sleeve red with big collar & The short sleeve red with white full collar - all are the collection of the 90's. I don't buy any of the millennium's jersey due to the 'brand' that attached to it.. you know laa.. it's Carlsberg..

I really looking forward for the shirt to be on sale here in Malaysia and possibly buy one for myself.. very tempting proposition indeed. More importantly, this marked the new era of Liverpool with new manager and hopefully new responsible and footballing minded owner replacing the current one.

HODGSON TO LIVERPOOL FC

After Rafael Benitez (former team manager) got the boot, Liverpool FC had actively searching for the replacement. A flurry of names being mentioned and put in the hat. Dalglish, O'Niell, Hodgson, Deschamp, Rijkaard, Erickson and a few others being mentioned as the possible replacement. And today, if the 'news' is to be believed, the Liverpool FC board had decided that they will offer the job to ROY HODGSON - the Fulham manager. click here

My personal view :

Possibly, the choice is relatively the 'cheaper' option for Liverpool FC based on the pedigree Hodgson shows while managing small club, tight budget with decent players. This is because Liverpool FC being heavily burdened by the 300++ million in debt incurred to the club when the Owners, some no-football-brainer-dude from USA, borrowed the money to buy the club a few years back. They came with some 'glittering reputation' and promised the moon and the stars, but failed to deliver. The new stadium still on the drawing board, not to mention the number of 'design adjustment' (hidden translation.. cost cutting!) that had been made to the original plan. The cash in offering to bring in new world class player had since dried up. Instead the debt keep on piling up like a case file in the PDRM & SPRM offices. Liverpool FC had never recovered from the debt situation since!

This news is a disappointment to me. Personally, I don't hate Hodgson. Really. It just that, his pedigree does not matched the club as big as Liverpool FC is. The least that I would expect is, the return of the Liverpool's prodigal son, the last manager to bring the league title to Anfield, the player that the fans vote as Liverpool finest in club's century history - KENNY DALGLISH - to take over the job and propel Liverpool FC to the top, where it belongs. Until the news is published in the LIVERPOOL FC official site - fingers cross - I hope this is just a 'rumours'. However, by the look of things and the paper that published the 'rumours' - Liverpool Echo - I think the 'rumours' is as good as a 'news'.

Hodgson was voted the Manager Of The Year by the League Managers Association last season (09/10). And, he managed to guide Fulham to the Final of Europa Cup for the first time in their history. But, that doesn't convinced me.. yet. Hopefully, he will be able to win his doubters.. the fans, like me, over and bring back the glory days to Anfield as well as ended The KOP craved of the English Premier League Champion trophy.

Fingers cross and hoping that there will be lights at the end of the tunnel.
